Solution
Get at least 4 people, one of which is a mystic and head to GI. Send one person to each of the stone circles (Two are marked 'Safe' and one is marked 'safe tree'), with the mystic going to the Sul'ran temple oasis stone circle in the GI Desert (escort them, they'll need help).

Once everyone is in position, each has a line to say. They are as follows:

*Swamp (near waterfall): "Khororan iocha"
*Past feather crossing: "Brimoran ratok"
*Past log crossing: "Gan Vara hellah"
*Sul'ran: "Sulran tarachk"

Walk into the portals that open once the words are said.

Welcome to Sul'ran, the exit is to the west, you'll have access in and out for at least an ooc day.

Hints
Villagers
*Lea'Tar'Kho says, "I remember when Colmert would join us for supper. He loved Wumpa fruit."
*Ledon'Kho says, "like the village of the Sul'ran in the desert."
*Ledon'Kho exclaims, "They think they're more advanced than us, but they don't even believe in the spirits!"
*Lea'Tar'Kho asks, "Is it too much to ask that Setha write once in a while?"
*Lea'Tar'Kho exclaims, "Colmert used to make the dinner table disappear right before our eyes!"
*Lea'Tar'Kho says, "Colmert would say, "Colmert says appear" and our dinner table would reappear."

Bookcase
*The river by the rainbow holds no fish. Even if you wisely speak, "Woe betides the foolish"

Colmert's Magical Illusions
Found deep within Colmert's Castle on Gungla Island.

* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 1: ...Someone must stand in each of the four stone circles placed in secret locations around the island. The fourth circle of stones nearest the Sul'ran Temple must be filled by someone with magical knowledge.
* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 2: ...The stone circle in the swamp has a magical password of "Khororan iocha" which invokes that village's Rockodile Amakua.
* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 3: ...The stone circle furthest north has a magical password of "Brimoran ratok" which exalts that village's Tor Amakua's connection with the earth.
* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 4: ...The stone circle nearest the middle village has a magical password of "Gan Vara hellah" which celebrates that village's Puma Amakua's speed and agility.
* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 5: ...The stone circle nearest the western desert village has a magical password of "Sulran tarachk" which celebrates that village's Sun Wyrm's Amakua's enlightenment, even though the Sul'ran have forsaken it. This abandonment allowed whatever evil the Amakua was holding back to escape and start possessing villagers and creatures.

Colmert's Travel Journal
Found deep within Colmert's Castle on Gungla Island.

* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 1: ...Someone must stand in each of the four stone circles placed in secret locations around the island. The fourth circle of stones nearest the Sul'ran Temple must be filled by someone with magical knowledge.
* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 2: ...The stone circle in the swamp has a magical password of "Khororan chiok" which invokes that village's Rocodile Amakua."
* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 3: ...The stone circle furthest north has a magical password of "Brimoran torak" which exalts that village's Tor Amakua's connection with the earth."
* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 4: ...The stone circle nearest the middle village has a magical password of "Gan Vara leeah" which celebrates that village's Puma Amakua's speed and agility."
* Excerpt from Colmert's Magical Illusions, Book 5: ...The stone circle nearest the western desert village has a magical password of "Sulran chartak" which celebrates that village's Sun Wyrm's Amakua's enlightenment, even though the Sul'ran have forsaken it. This abandonment allowed whatever evil the Amakua was holding back to escape and start possessing villagers and creatures.

Phantasms are illusions an exile can cast with enough training.

Exiles require a minimum of 10 ranks in training from Asteshesha who is located within the tower of Umbrion's keep, and a Phantasmonomicon (available after a short quest from the same room).

When cast, the phantasm will slowly drift away from the exile in the direction they're facing.

Several books in the tower room describe phantasms in character.
*Phantasmology is an ancient art.
*Phantasms are entertaining trickery. Nothing more.
*Pages must be collected before you can use a phantasmonomicon.
*Phantasms are temporary illusions in the minds of sentient beings.
*You cannot cast phantasms without a phantasmonomicon.
*The abilities of a practitioner of phantasmology increase with special training.
*If a hidden phantasm caster's spirit is linked to a skilled practitioner, the phantasm will be visible.
*Non-sentient beings will never see a phantasm.

Pages
There are 36 known phantasms.
Individual phantasms are contained within pages that must be inserted into a phantasmonomicon to cast.

Pages can be bought from a number of vendors scattered around the lands. Each vendor sells a specific set of pages for 100c each however the page you receive is random and some may be more common than others.

Senfantia in Colmert's keep will hand out pages in exchange for a donation of coins so that she can continue to develop new phantams (N.B As no new phantasms have appeared in several years despite donations from exiles it is likely that Phantasms are not considerd an active project by the GMs). Initial tests indicate that a page is handed out approximately every 300 coins [Figure needs verification] however only 1 page is handed out at a time regardless of donation size (so donating 600c won't get 2 pages).
Senfantia can hand out any of the 36 known pages however some still appear to be more rare than others making getting specific pages in this manner akin to playing the slot machine.

Spare pages can be kept in a Phantasm Folder (available from an NPC in Umbrion's Keep Tower for 300c)

Trainers
Asteshesha: Uncapped Trainer: Increases the duration and maximum distance from the exile that the Phantasm can move to, located in Umbrion's Keep Tower.

Sean Hidus Capped Trainer: Allows you to hide and unhide your phantasms, located in Colmert's Keep.

Stace Lucian Capped Trainer: Allows you to lock/unlock your phantasm at its current position, located in Colmert's Keep.

Chen Dimage Capped Trainer: Allows you to change a phantasm you've already cast to a new one, located in Colmert's Keep.

Note:
Changing a phantasm part way through does not change extend the duration.
Phantasm duration only decreases while shown, hiding a phantasm pauses the countdown.
Once the phantasm has reached its set duration you must wait a short while before you can cast a new phantasm, this length of time appears to increase with the duration of the phantasm.

A Phantasmonomicon is a book that holds Phantasm pages.

It is available from Umbrion's Keep Tower after donating a pinch of catsbane, completing 3 short tests, and paying 1000c.

Phantasmonomicon Quest
Speak to Cerider in Umbrion's tower keep while holding a pinch of catsbane.

Once you've donated the catsbane to Cerider, speak to them again to begin.

Test 1
Identify the phantasm out of the fires by bumping in to it.

Test 2
Identify the 3 phantasms out of the 6 fires by bumping in to it.

Test 3
Navigate a maze filled with a mixture of phantasm and real fires.

Once all 3 tests have been completed speak to Cerider to buy a Phantasmonomicon for 1000c

In all 3 tests the "real" fires will block your movement.

Test 2 appears to be the hardest as the phantasms are not in the same place every time so it's blind luck as to whether you pick the correct 3 fires without getting any wrong.

To gain access to certain areas on Ash island (such as many of the entrances to, and in the Rebel Base, and the esteem safe tree west of the barrens graveyard) you will need esteem. To gain access to the most esteem required areas inside the rebel base, all the way up to being able to see Tyris Drakesblood, and up to current level of maximum esteem, you can check your esteem levels with different things many NPCs say inside the rebel base and in the barrens. The following is the very long order in which one gets esteem:

Firstly you gain access to the rebel base cave entrance.
With a bit more esteem you can enter through the rebel tunnels into Ash City.
With a bit more you can cross the water area on a row boat inside the rebel base.
After that, it starts with Garrote Ropely, the esteem bridge crossing messages. This is what he says:

5/27/09 11:21:30p Garrote Ropely says, "Yeah, just go back the way you came."

5/27/09 11:21:30p Garrote Ropely says, "These planks ain't sturdy enough for the likes of you, landlubber."

5/27/09 11:21:31p Garrote Ropely says, "Ye might... fall in."

5/27/09 11:21:31p Garrote Ropely laughs harshly.

5/27/09 12:54:33a Garrote Ropely says, "One of yers throat is gonna get slit if you don't step careful-like."

5/27/09 12:54:33a Garrote Ropely says, "Yer lot's killed near as many of ours as the Darshak have."

The carpet outside the maze is a map. Each color corresponds to a direction.

We see the following correlation:

Red = North

Green = West

Blue = South

Yellow = East

With the colors Red and Green changing meaning after the Yellow/East to:

Red = West

Green = North

Blue = South

Yellow = East

Credit to Yor, Kalian and Kensington, plus all those who mapped the UK fire maze in the first place.
We see the following correlation:

Red = North

Green = West

Blue = South

Yellow = East

With the colors Red and Green changing meaning after the Yellow/East to:

*Swamp (near waterfall): "Khororan chiok"
*Past feather crossing: "Brimoran torak"
*Past log crossing: "Gan Vara leeah"
*Sul'ran: "Sulran chartak"

Colmert's Travel Journal
Found deep within Colmert's Castle on Gungla Island.

* Excerpt from Colmert's Travel Journal: ...My journey to this island has been eventful....The natives are friendly....Three of the four tribes worship Amakuas, which seems to be some kind of spirit totem...."
* Excerpt from Colmert's Travel Journal: ...The southern tribe call themselves the Khororan. Their Amakua is the rockodile...The jungle tribe call themselves the Gan Vara. Their Amakua is a puma...The Amakua of the northern tribe, the Brimoran, is the tor...
* Excerpt from Colmert's Travel Journal: The western most tribe, the Sul'ran, live deep in the desert. It's very dangerous. They seem to have forsaken their Amakua worship for logic and reason....Lately, though, they have been acting strangely..."
* Excerpt from Colmert's Last Journal: ...The Sul'ran are possessed! I do not know what it is or what caused it, but it has spread to the Gan Vara, as well. The Gan Vara have invaded the other two tribes. In hopes to contain this evil, I've sealed each tribe off from one another with my magic until I can research a cure. In case I do not return, I put the secret to opening up the Sul'ran temple in my dungeon."
With the colors Red and Green changing meaning after the Yellow/East to:
